Fillable baubles
This year we are running the fillable bauble competition again. It was a huge success last year, and we had some super decorated baubles.
We will soon be sending home a plastic Christmas tree bauble for your child to decorate, and should you wish, to also fill with coins. All of the decorated baubles will be put on display at pre-school and will be judged, with the winning child receiving a prize!
This year we are fundraising to replace our very tired and worn-out kitchen. The kitchen is an integral part of the pre-school setting and is used for preparing snacks for the children, and for undertaking cooking sessions with the children. As a pre-school we actively promote healthy eating and oral health. As part of their sessions, our children enjoy cutting up vegetables to make healthy soups to have at snack time and making fruit salads, however the condition of the kitchen is making this more difficult. We hope to replace the kitchen next year.
Should you wish to keep the bauble following judging, please put any coins in a separate bag. This will reduce the risk of the bauble getting damaged when trying to empty it.
Please return the bauble to pre-school by the 13th December for us to include in the judging.
Don’t forget tomorrow is the final day for Christmas card orders.
