Fundraising
The end of 2019 brought about a flurry of fundraising activity, resulting in a huge boost to our 'Save our Ceiling' campaign. We ended the year with an amazing fundraising total of £14,702 and within touching distance of our overall target of £17,000 to cover the cost of the ceiling repairs.
The fundraising activity in the Autumn term that contributed to the total included:
· Halloween Party - £347
· Temple Spa Event - £126
· November and December Quiz Nights - £333
· Christmas Fair - £935
· Donations at Christmas Play - £120
· Christmas DVD sales - £270
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the Christmas Fair and to all those who kindly donated prizes and bought raffle tickets. The event would not have been a success without your support. We'd also like to thank The Steampacket for generously supporting the Pre-School Quiz Nights throughout 2019, along with everyone who came along to enjoy the quiz. Thank you also to Chris Parkes, Senior Lifestyle Consultant and Temple Spa Manager who kindly donated all proceeds from the raffle at a recent Temple Spa event. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who made a donation at the Christmas Play and also to pre-school parent, John Felix. owner of John Felix Films for very generously filming/producing the Christmas Play DVD and donating all proceeds to pre-school.
