Leavers
Ceremony
For
the children leaving us in July you will now have received their invite to the
Leavers’ Ceremony. This is a lovely celebration of the time the children have
at Pre School, and also a chance to dress up in their party clothes. The
ceremony starts at 10.00am and lasts for around 30 minutes. Refreshments are
then served and you have the opportunity to see photographs of the children at
Pre School over the last year.
Absence
If your child is
unable to attend Pre School please ring and report the absence on the first day
by telephone. If the absence were long term we require something in writing.
If you are going on
holiday please request a holiday form so that we know when you will be away.
Pre
School Trip
We
were very fortunate to get a dry day for our trip to Wheelgate. A good day was
enjoyed by all!
Don’t
forget to help your child get ready for school
In
order to help your children get ready for the transition to big school it is
important you help them gain some independence. Please can you let them
practise putting on their own shoes and coats, this will be a huge benefit when
they start school.
Friends
of Swanwick Pre School OR Business and Education Committee
Do you have a couple
of hours to spare each month, to come along and help your child’s Pre
School? We really need parents to join one or both of our committees because
many of the members will be leaving in September. It’s a great way to meet new people, perhaps
to learn a new skill and to help in your community.
Without
additional committee volunteers we will not have enough to run the Pre School,
which would then close.

We would like to wish all the children that are leaving us
this summer, good luck and best wishes for starting their new school.
